When Aziz Erçetin came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the Laleli fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aziz Erçetin couldn't finish the play. After having played for 13 minutes, Oğuzer Erşahan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hizan's supporters crossed their fingers, but Oğuzer Erşahan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Laleli getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. In the 32ndth minute of the game Oğuzer Erşahan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Laleli's Kahraman Ilgın was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Davut Özyurt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hizan's Demir Seri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Göksun Hirfet in the 41st minute of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Oğuzer Erşahan was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, Laleli's Selman Öksal got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Kahraman Ilgın showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nuratay Özgiray, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute.
