In the 10th minute Ferit Ülker shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Varol Rıfat saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ferit Ülker was shown his second yellow card after 11 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 12th minute, Ferit Ülker hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 13 minutes into the match, Özal Sartık notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Oguzlar's Bilgehan Karaalp. Peker Köklem hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ulaş Piruz in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bilgehan Karaalp saved Oguzlar from getting behind. Bilgehan Karaalp made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ulaş Piruz in the 28th minute of play. Akil Özkutlu struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Varol Rıfat didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Oguzlar. Ali Emir Akbatu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Varol Rıfat tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 35 minutes into the match, Akil Özkutlu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Varol Rıfat. Bilgehan Karaalp tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ulaş Piruz in the 47th minute of play forced Oguzlar's goalkeeper Bilgehan Karaalp to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Akil Özkutlu made a kick off. Bilgehan Karaalp showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Özal Sartık in the 52nd minute of the match. 54 minutes into the match, Varsakspor's goal looked a bit too open when Derviş Ozansoy came free, but Varol Rıfat reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 56thth minute of the game Ulaş Piruz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Oguzlar's Bilgehan Karaalp was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hacı Ali Tolunbay couldn't finish the play. When the match had gone on for 80 minutes, Zülfü Özsahin took a quick shot and it went in 2-3 without a chance for Varol Rıfat to make any attempt to save it. Akil Özkutlu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
