Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Akil Özkutlu got the match started through his kick off. Ahmet Ege Gülsoy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ferit Ülker in the 4th minute of the match. When Ferit Ülker came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the Oguzlar fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ferit Ülker couldn't finish the play. Ahmet Ege Gülsoy stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Akil Özkutlu's shot from short distance in the 7th minute. When Oguzlar's Akil Özkutlu in the 9th minute got a chance for a shot 9th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye LYON FC's goalie prevented a goal. Ahmet Ege Gülsoy came out of the goal in the 11th minute to try and stop a shot by Oguzlar's Akil Özkutlu. But to his dismay, Akil Özkutlu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Akil Özkutlu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Ahmet Ege Gülsoy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ahmet Ege Gülsoy took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Akil Özkutlu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mehmet Halis Türkmen might have been able to make a better finish in the 21st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bilgehan Karaalp. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mehmet Halis Türkmen ran back to his position shaking his head. After some careless play in the LYON FC defense, Hacı Ali Tolunbay kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ahmet Ege Gülsoy. The LYON FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ahmet Ege Gülsoy should have stopped the shot. Ferit Ülker recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Akil Özkutlu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Ahmet Ege Gülsoy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Oguzlar were awarded a corner in the 36th minute after LYON FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Avni Cevan took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Avni Cevan got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Ahmet Ege Gülsoy quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Taner Batıray charged in rather forcefully in the 39th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Taner Batıray the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ahmet Ege Gülsoy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ferit Ülker in the 44th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

LYON FC's Ahmet Ege Gülsoy proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save LYON FC from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, LYON FC's Ahmet Ege Gülsoy got control of the ball when Ferit Ülker tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 61st minute of the match Oguzlar got a corner. LYON FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Avni Cevan ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 61st minute, Aygün Namık hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Avni Cevan came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Oguzlar fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Avni Cevan couldn't finish the play. Oguzlar were awarded a corner in the 67th minute after LYON FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Avni Cevan took the corner. Akil Özkutlu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ahmet Ege Gülsoy made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ferit Ülker in the 73rd minute. Oguzlar's Ferit Ülker got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ferit Ülker fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ahmet Ege Gülsoy having to interfere. In the 80th minute Akil Özkutlu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ahmet Ege Gülsoy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ferit Ülker could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Ahmet Ege Gülsoy made a huge save. After 86 minutes of play LYON FC's Taner Batıray was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Taner Batıray kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. Akil Özkutlu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the final whistle sounded Oguzlar left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than LYON FC.
