Peker Berin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cabbar Özaltay having to interfere. Bilgehan Cihangir sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After having played for 26 minutes, Peker Berin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ekinözü's supporters crossed their fingers, but Peker Berin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 33 minutes into the game, Peker Berin cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Cabbar Özaltay was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ekinözü's Peker Berin got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Melih Cevdet Hazin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Kahraman Kutun tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Melih Cevdet Haspolatlı had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Bilgehan Cihangir had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Peker Berin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cabbar Özaltay having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Peker Berin in the 48th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cabbar Özaltay saved Pamukkale from getting behind. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Peker Berin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Peker Berin in the 53rd minute of play forced Pamukkale's goalkeeper Cabbar Özaltay to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Bilgehan Cihangir had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Peker Berin was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 76th minute. Ekinözü's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 81st minute, Peker Berin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Bilgehan Cihangir fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cabbar Özaltay having to interfere. A collision led to Ekinözü getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Ulaş Kadri hit a great ball. When İbrahim Oksay fell near the penalty area in the 91st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pamukkale's protests and gave İbrahim Oksay a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Pamukkale's İbrahim Oksay got a free kick in the 91st minute. After 93 minutes, Ergün Ayaydın mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ekinözü and the Pamukkale players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 93 played minutes Ekinözü got a freekick which was hit by Ergün Ayaydın. 95 minutes into the game, Ulaş Kadri was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ekinözü's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pamukkale the free kick. 96 minutes into the match, Pamukkale's Sabit Hacıoğlu broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. When the final whistle sounded Ekinözü left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Pamukkale.
