Sarkisla's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Akcakale the free kick. In the 30th minute, one of Sarkisla:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Sarkisla. In the 35th minute, Mehmet Çağrı Saykal ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Veli Vecih was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Sarkisla's İsmail Orhun Erginay got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Veli Vecih made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when Eren Özge sent off a good shot on target. Veli Vecih took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from İsmail Orhun Erginay, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for İsmail Orhun Erginay to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eren Özge in the 51st minute of play forced Akcakale's goalkeeper Veli Vecih to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cevahir İlkim thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Veli Vecih, a very annoying self made goal in the 54th minute which led to 2-0. İsmail Orhun Erginay received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Veli Vecih tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eren Özge might have been able to make a better finish in the 59th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Veli Vecih. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Eren Özge ran back to his position shaking his head. Hüseyin Akergin hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. In the 65th minute, İsmail Orhun Erginay ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Veli Vecih was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. İsmail Orhun Erginay fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Veli Vecih having to interfere. During the 78th minute of the match Uğuralp İhlas completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. Akcakale's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
