Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Özcan Özsel kicked off to start the match. The supporters of PEGASUS booed when Tophane was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Suphi Bintuğ didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Tophane's zone, Özcan Özsel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Atilla Kağan Kırgız came out of the goal and Özcan Özsel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 9th minute, Özcan Özsel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Özcan Özsel was extremely unlucky when he, in the 20th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Mehmet Halis Ersever received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Necmi Ünveren in the 40th minute of play forced PEGASUS's goalkeeper Aktan Erentürk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Necmi Ünveren recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Necmi Ünveren to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, PEGASUS's Baycan Özguven got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Aktan Erentürk acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 54th minute, took the ball on the long shot from İsmail Orhun Davarcı. After 59 played minutes Tophane got a freekick which was hit by Abdulmelik Adahan. In the 61st minute, Tarkan Özaltan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Necmi Ünveren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. A very good chance. 74 minutes into the match, Tophane's goal looked a bit too open when Özcan Özsel came free, but Atilla Kağan Kırgız reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The attack was good, but when Necmi Ünveren in the 83rd minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. If Necmi Ünveren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Özcan Özsel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tophane's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
