Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Kandemir Nezihi took the kick off in the first half of the match. The supporters of Gelibolu booed when Sarikamis was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Seyhun Öztaş didn't get a good kick on the ball. Barlas Karacabey showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kandemir Nezihi, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. Gelibolu's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kandemir Nezihi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Kandemir Nezihi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mehmet Çağrı Suphi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 47th minute of the match, but Barlas Karacabey made a huge save. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hayyam İnanöz was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hayyam İnanöz in the 51st minute of play forced Gelibolu's goalkeeper Çağan Umural to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Demiralp Akyüz struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Çağan Umural didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sarikamis. Gelibolu's Kandemir Nezihi got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Arif Ensar Koçaş kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. After 68 played minutes Sarikamis got a freekick which was hit by Mehmet Bedri Ongel. 76 minutes into the game, Lütfü Selim was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Gelibolu's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sarikamis the free kick. In the 76th minute, Lütfü Selim hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nejat Alp Akçay's late challenge caught a Gelibolu's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nejat Alp Akçay helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Sarikamis's Nejat Alp Akçay got a free kick in the 79th minute. Celal Orgun, 80 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Kandemir Nezihi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Barlas Karacabey tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Barlas Karacabey made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kandemir Nezihi in the 85th minute of play. If Kandemir Nezihi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Barlas Karacabey took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mehmet Çağrı Suphi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mehmet Çağrı Suphi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Barlas Karacabey tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Gelibolu players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
