The Mazgirt fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kamil Kutsal should have stopped the shot. Mazgirt's defense didn't have a chance, in the 37th minute, when Ahmet Hakan Sözer scored to the left of an out of position Kamil Kutsal, making the score, 2-0. Samet Mustafa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arda Tamkoç in the 41st minute of play. Mazgirt's Hürkan Özbas got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Samet Mustafa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arda Tamkoç, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Mazgirt's Kamil Kutsal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hamit Ceyhan in the 88th minute of play. Hamit Ceyhan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Kamil Kutsal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kamil Kutsal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ahmet Hakan Sözer in the 96th minute of the match. The supporters of Mazgirt booed when Balikesir SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 98 match minutes in a wonderful position. Can Gagauz didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Balikesir SK had won after a very even match.
