In the 4th minute Melih Zağanos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dilmen İnan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Melih Zağanos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ahmet Gökalp Yalazabey received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Dilmen İnan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 47 minutes into the match, Ahmet Gökalp Yalazabey had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dilmen İnan. İzmir FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ahmet Gökalp Yalazabey was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Fahri Batıkan made a kick off. When the match had gone on for 57 minutes, Ahmet Gökalp Yalazabey took a quick shot and it went in 1-4 without a chance for Dilmen İnan to make any attempt to save it. 60 minutes into the match, Vize's Ahmet Gökalp Yalazabey sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dilmen İnan narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dilmen İnan showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Vize's Harun Kambay got a free kick in the 95th minute. Vize's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
