Spectators: 7230 (Terracing: 5424, Seating: 1663, VIP seats: 143) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. In the 12th minute the ball was on its way in behind Balikesir SK's goalkeeper Samet Mustafa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ali Atıf Ceviz in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aygün Ayvaz saved marmara kazım from getting behind. In the 16th minute, Kutlay Başöz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aygün Ayvaz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hamit Ceyhan in the 20th minute of play. If Metin Celvet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Samet Mustafa came out of the goal in the 26th minute to try and stop a shot by marmara kazım's Saffet Ulvi. But to his dismay, Saffet Ulvi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Ahmet Hakan Sözer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ahmet Hakan Sözer in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aygün Ayvaz prevented the ball from getting in the gole.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Metin Celvet stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Aygün Ayvaz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hamit Ceyhan in the 54th minute. Aygün Ayvaz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ahmet Hakan Sözer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hamit Ceyhan during the 60th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Balikesir SK getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Hamit Ceyhan hit a great ball. Zafer Parshan kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Balikesir SK's zone, Saffet Ulvi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Samet Mustafa came out of the goal and Saffet Ulvi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. marmara kazım's Aygün Ayvaz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ahmet Hakan Sözer in the 93rd minute of play. A collision led to marmara kazım getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Baran Alp Tigin hit a great ball. Ahmet Hakan Sözer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aygün Ayvaz having to interfere. In the 98thth minute of the game Metin Celvet who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Balikesir SK's Samet Mustafa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.
