Kamil Kutsal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aykut Karaoğlan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Selmi Tuncel hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. After 8 played minutes trabzon got a freekick which was hit by Ünal Başat. Mazgirt's Arda Tamkoç got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Hürkan Özbas hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. With a little luck, trabzon's Cumhur Tüney got control of the ball when Hürkan Özbas tried to sneak it across the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Mazgirt's Hürkan Özbas slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Cumhur Tüney. That made the score 1-0 after 21 minutes of play. In the 25th match minute, trabzon was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ahmet Gökalp Cangun to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sadettin Şanver during the 29th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Mazgirt getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Sadettin Şanver hit a great ball. Mazgirt's Kamil Kutsal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aykut Karaoğlan in the 30th minute of play. After 30 played minutes Mazgirt got a freekick which was hit by Selmi Tuncel. Mazgirt's Kamil Kutsal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aykut Karaoğlan in the 31st minute of play. When Recai Dürüst came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the trabzon fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Recai Dürüst couldn't finish the play. Kamil Kutsal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Recai Dürüst in the 38th minute of the match. In the 40th match minute, Mazgirt was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Selmi Tuncel to maneuver through the defense. Aykut Karaoğlan struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Kamil Kutsal didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for trabzon.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Aykut Karaoğlan made a kick off. When the match clock showed 63 minutes, the score became 1-2 when Recai Dürüst sped through Mazgirt's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Kamil Kutsal. Arda Tamkoç recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Hürkan Özbas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Cumhur Tüney tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Arda Tamkoç had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 90th minute, trabzon's Aykut Karaoğlan ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Kamil Kutsal. Kamil Kutsal yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-3. When the final whistle sounded trabzon left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Mazgirt.
