The referee ignored Vize's protests and gave Arif Gaffar Tomurcuk a yellow card for diving instead. In the 17th match minute, Vize was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arif Gaffar Tomurcuk to maneuver through the defense. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ahmet Gökalp Yalazabey made a kick off. Kelkit's Çağlar Toprak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ahmet Gökalp Yalazabey in the 52nd minute of play. Vize's Ahmet Gökalp Yalazabey got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 60th minute, Ziya Onur Koralp hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Seçkin Hançer came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Kelkit fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Seçkin Hançer couldn't finish the play. Çağlar Toprak made an important save on a dangerous shot by Melih Zağanos in the 63rd minute. After 69 played minutes Ahmet Gökalp Yalazabey rounded Kelkit's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-1. Yıldıray Şatıroğlu, 82 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Ahmet Gökalp Yalazabey kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Çağlar Toprak. That made the score 2-2 in the 86 minute of play. The audience was convinced that Berker Rıza Kadir's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hulusi Kurhan was relentless in the 92nd minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Berker Rıza Kadir in the 94th minute of play forced Vize's goalkeeper Hulusi Kurhan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
