If Hayri Şahdar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Baki Sorgun in the 46th minute of play forced Emir Bey's goalkeeper Necdet Aktaşoğlu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

When the match had gone on for 54 minutes, Gani Özerol took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Yavuzalp Önateş to make any attempt to save it. Necdet Aktaşoğlu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Baki Sorgun in the 59th minute of play. The supporters of Emir Bey booed when DEMBA BA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Baki Sorgun didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Emirşah Sair during the 69th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Emir Bey getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Emirşah Sair hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Emir Bey's Boran Akdoğan got a free kick in the 73rd minute. When Baki Sorgun came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the DEMBA BA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Baki Sorgun couldn't finish the play. DEMBA BA's Baki Sorgun got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 85th minute Genco Hıfzullah shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yavuzalp Önateş saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hayri Şahdar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute.
