Olcay Orkun Erboğa was extremely unlucky when he, in the 17th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. After 34 played minutes DEMBA BA got a freekick which was hit by Erberk Necip. Doğan Eryilmaz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hayri Şahdar in the 43rd minute of play. Erberk Necip hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, DEMBA BA's Rüştü Karasu got a free kick in the 47th minute. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

If Hayri Şahdar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 82nd minute, one of DEMBA BA:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for DEMBA BA. Baki Sorgun received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Doğan Eryilmaz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Ahmet Refik Rafetoğulları's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Yavuzalp Önateş was relentless in the 96th minute of the game. Rüştü Karasu kicked well hit freekick during the 100th minute of the match.
