In the 20th minute Umut Şükür shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Necdet Aktaşoğlu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Necdet Aktaşoğlu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Umut Şükür, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Mehmet Ediz Kınıkaslan, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 23 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Necdet Aktaşoğlu was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mehmet Ediz Kınıkaslan in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Necdet Aktaşoğlu saved Emir Bey from getting behind. The audience was convinced that Mehmet Ediz Kınıkaslan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Necdet Aktaşoğlu was relentless in the 34th minute of the game.
