In the 15thth minute of the game Umur Balkanlı who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sehzadepasa's Ahmet Emir İlke was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 17 minutes into the match, Lion.Fc.'s goal looked a bit too open when Pekin Dilşah came free, but Halil Can Kura reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 18 minutes, Basri Aktekin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lion.Fc. and the Sehzadepasa players grew even worse after the yellow card. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 25 minutes into the match, Umur Balkanlı notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Sehzadepasa's Ahmet Emir İlke. Ahmet Emir İlke was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Cankut Boratay in the 32ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Ahmet Emir İlke, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After 33 played minutes Sehzadepasa got a freekick which was hit by Vahap Titiz. 36 minutes into the match, Sehzadepasa's goalkeeper Ahmet Emir İlke had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cankut Boratay. Sehzadepasa's Ahmet Emir İlke played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Umur Balkanlı in the 37th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Lion.Fc.'s Umur Balkanlı slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ahmet Emir İlke. That made the score 2-0 after 41 minutes of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

In the 51st minute of the match, Şimşek Hikmettin got a very nice opportunity to score, but Halil Can Kura was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Mevlüt Suer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Halil Can Kura tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Cankut Boratay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. Mevlüt Suer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Halil Can Kura having to interfere. Ahmet Emir İlke took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Umur Balkanlı, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ahmet Emir İlke showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Umur Balkanlı in the 63rd minute of the match. Lion.Fc.'s Halil Can Kura proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save Lion.Fc. from getting a goal against them. Basri Aktekin lost his temper 70 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Ahmet Orhan Mengücek's late challenge caught a Sehzadepasa's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ahmet Orhan Mengücek helped the player get up and apologised.
