An unexpectedly hard shot by Atacan Tokhan in the 6th minute of play forced Yıldızlar Sk's goalkeeper Orbay Sabuncuoğlu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sarper Gürgan came out of the goal in the 8th minute to try and stop a shot by Yıldızlar Sk's Doğa Samin. But to his dismay, Doğa Samin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Orbay Sabuncuoğlu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dilmen Uygun, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. After 14 minutes, Dilmen Uygun made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Yıldızlar Sk's Orbay Sabuncuoğlu tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 18 minutes into the match, Trabzonspor FC's goal looked a bit too open when Talat Muhittin came free, but Sarper Gürgan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 19th minute of the match, Atacan Tokhan tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Orbay Sabuncuoğlu saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. A collision led to Yıldızlar Sk getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Hazım Vecihi hit a great ball. Duman Yorangil's late challenge caught a Yıldızlar Sk's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Duman Yorangil helped the player get up and apologised. After 22 played minutes Trabzonspor FC got a freekick which was hit by Duman Yorangil. After 24 played minutes Trabzonspor FC got a freekick which was hit by Güngör Tekindağ. Yıldızlar Sk's Orbay Sabuncuoğlu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save Yıldızlar Sk from getting a goal against them. 29 minutes into the game, Hazım Vecihi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Yıldızlar Sk's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Trabzonspor FC the free kick. After 29 played minutes Yıldızlar Sk got a freekick which was hit by Hazım Vecihi. 29 minutes into the game, Ahmet Kutsi Kutbay was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Trabzonspor FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Dilmen Uygun was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Orbay Sabuncuoğlu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With his leg Orbay Sabuncuoğlu managed to avoid a goal in the 47thth minute, when Trabzonspor FC's Dilmen Uygun fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Atacan Tokhan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Orbay Sabuncuoğlu having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Doğa Samin was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd play minute Baran Alp Aydoğan came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Sarper Gürgan. 1-2. 60 minutes into the match, Trabzonspor FC's goal looked a bit too open when Doğa Samin came free, but Sarper Gürgan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Trabzonspor FC's Sarper Gürgan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Doğa Samin in the 63rd minute of play. In the 64th minute, Kartal Temur left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Trabzonspor FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. Yenal İlican charged in rather forcefully in the 69th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Yenal İlican the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 69 played minutes Yıldızlar Sk got a freekick which was hit by Yenal İlican. When Trabzonspor FC's Kartal Temur in the 75th minute got a chance for a shot 75th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Yıldızlar Sk's goalie prevented a goal. Atacan Tokhan struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Orbay Sabuncuoğlu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Trabzonspor FC. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dilmen Uygun in the 82nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Orbay Sabuncuoğlu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 84 minutes, Dilmen Uygun made it 3-2 with a short kick to the right side. Yıldızlar Sk's Orbay Sabuncuoğlu tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Yıldızlar Sk's zone, Dilmen Uygun stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Orbay Sabuncuoğlu came out of the goal and Dilmen Uygun tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Orbay Sabuncuoğlu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Atacan Tokhan in the 89th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Dilmen Uygun managed to get in a good position for a shot. Trabzonspor FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Dilmen Uygun was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Orbay Sabuncuoğlu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 98 minutes of play, Yıldızlar Sk's Baran Alp Aydoğan made it 4-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sarper Gürgan was left in no man's land by his defense there! The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Trabzonspor FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Yıldızlar Sk had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
