When Bahattin Naci, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 15 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Mustafa Hamit Orbey was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. 20 minutes into the game, Hybernation FC's Bahattin Naci nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mustafa Hamit Orbey made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Mustafa Hamit Orbey made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kuddusî Seyfi in the 23rd minute of play. Bahattin Naci took the ball and in the 25 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mustafa Hamit Orbey. Mustafa Hamit Orbey dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Hybernation FC's Hızır Seyyid pulled a muscle in his leg after 28 minutes and couldn't finish the game. When Mithat Akkılıç fell near the penalty area in the 28th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Istanbul Bosphorus's protests and gave Mithat Akkılıç a yellow card for diving instead. In the 29th minute, Mithat Akkılıç hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 30 minutes into the match, Kuddusî Seyfi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mustafa Hamit Orbey. Istanbul Bosphorus's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kuddusî Seyfi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Mustafa Hamit Orbey breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Istanbul Bosphorus's Mustafa Hamit Orbey played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kuddusî Seyfi in the 38th minute of play. In the 43rd minute, Fazıl Hüsnü Bal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mustafa Hamit Orbey came out of the goal in the 47th minute to try and stop a shot by Hybernation FC's Fehmi Orkut. But to his dismay, Fehmi Orkut quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. After the first half Hybernation FC were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kuddusî Seyfi was the one to do the kick off. Kuddusî Seyfi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Mustafa Hamit Orbey tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 56 minutes into the match, Istanbul Bosphorus's goal looked a bit too open when Galip Ekinoğlu came free, but Mustafa Hamit Orbey reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Galip Ekinoğlu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Kuddusî Seyfi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mustafa Hamit Orbey having to make a save. With a little luck, Istanbul Bosphorus's Mustafa Hamit Orbey got control of the ball when Kuddusî Seyfi tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Istanbul Bosphorus's zone, Mustafa Hamit Gazzali stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mustafa Hamit Orbey came out of the goal and Mustafa Hamit Gazzali tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Kuddusî Seyfi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 90th minute, Kuddusî Seyfi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Galip Ekinoğlu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mustafa Hamit Orbey having to interfere.
