The audience thought a goal was coming when Güral Özgunay got free with Kubat Erşahin in the 9th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Burç Türker blasted a shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Kubat Erşahin having to make a save. In the 13th match minute, Sariyer FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Güral Özgunay to maneuver through the defense. Güral Özgunay sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Burç Türker struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Kubat Erşahin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sariyer FK. Agili JK's Kubat Erşahin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save Agili JK from getting a goal against them. In the 34th match minute, Agili JK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rüştü Taşgan to maneuver through the defense. Kutlu Oğuralp might have been able to make a better finish in the 35th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Kubat Erşahin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Kutlu Oğuralp ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 37th minute, Turgay Uluç hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Burç Türker, 38 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. When Atak Aras came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Sariyer FK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Atak Aras couldn't finish the play. Türkeş Kayacan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Özden Toker in the 45th minute of the match. After 48 minutes, Atak Aras mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sariyer FK and the Agili JK players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 48 played minutes Sariyer FK got a freekick which was hit by Atak Aras. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Rüştü Taşgan hit a great ball. Kubat Erşahin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kutlu Oğuralp, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. After 72 played minutes Agili JK got a freekick which was hit by Bulut Iğdırlı. After 76 minutes, Tarkan Onay mouthed his way into the referee's book.
