If Güral Özgunay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 40th minute the ball was on its way in behind Karatas FK's goalkeeper Poyraz Eraslan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Burç Türker in the 48th minute of play forced Karatas FK's goalkeeper Poyraz Eraslan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Saltuk Akçakan was the one to do the kick off. Güral Özgunay recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Karatas FK's zone, Kutlu Oğuralp stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Poyraz Eraslan came out of the goal and Kutlu Oğuralp tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 64th minute of the match, Hürkan Erboy got a very nice opportunity to score, but Türkeş Kayacan was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Türkeş Kayacan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Saltuk Akçakan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 77 minutes into the match, Karatas FK's goal looked a bit too open when Haluk Baykutay came free, but Poyraz Eraslan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 79 minutes into the match, Karatas FK's goal looked a bit too open when Burç Türker came free, but Poyraz Eraslan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
