In the 10th minute, Muharrem Hacıfettahoğlu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Turgay Tuney fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yüksel Asıf having to interfere. After 27 minutes, Metehan Candar mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kirikkale and the Montemon SK players grew even worse after the yellow card. Metehan Candar hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. If Şeref Yuluğ had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alişan Birhan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Selman Yıldızhan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 34th minute of play. When Alişan Birhan came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Montemon SK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alişan Birhan couldn't finish the play. Turgay Tuney received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Yüksel Asıf tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Turgay Tuney managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kirikkale's supporters rose to their feet, but Turgay Tuney was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Yüksel Asıf breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Muharrem Hacıfettahoğlu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Selman Yıldızhan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alişan Birhan in the 53rd minute of the match. Şeref Yuluğ's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 54thth minute, Selman Yıldızhan skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 55th minute, Montemon SK's Alişan Birhan dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-1. Hüsrev Türk hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. If Alişan Birhan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Montemon SK booed when Kirikkale was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Derviş Özkutay didn't get a good kick on the ball. Meriç Server was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 66th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Selman Yıldızhan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alişan Birhan's shot from short distance in the 67th minute. Alişan Birhan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Selman Yıldızhan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Metehan Candar got his second yellow card in the match during the 78th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 78th match minute, Kirikkale was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Metehan Candar to maneuver through the defense. In the 79th minute, Meriç Server sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Kirikkale's Selman Yıldızhan didn't even have to move. During this time Montemon SK's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Meriç Server almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Kirikkale's Selman Yıldızhan did a great save. In the 88th minute, Turgay Tuney ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Yüksel Asıf was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. The supporters of Kirikkale booed when Montemon SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fazıl Hüsnü Uludağ didn't get a good kick on the ball. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
