The supporters of Malatya booed when Kaynarca was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mesut Tunçöven didn't get a good kick on the ball. İzzet Hazer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Ahmet Refik Adıyaman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kaynarca. Mesut Tunçöven took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 32nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ahmet Refik Adıyaman. Malatya's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 33rd minute, Kaynarca's Doğa Keyhüsrev dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1. Doğa Keyhüsrev's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ahmet Refik Adıyaman read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 37th minute of play. Vecdi İhlas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Dinç Pektaşi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ahmet Fikret Polathan during the 41st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The audience was convinced that Vecdi İhlas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dinç Pektaşi was relentless in the 42nd minute of the game.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cüneyd Okatay was the one to do the kick off. When Doğa Keyhüsrev got free in front of the goal in the 51st minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Ahmet Refik Adıyaman was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. After 56 minutes, Sertel Erensoy mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kaynarca and the Malatya players grew even worse after the yellow card. Dinç Pektaşi was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Ahmet Refik Bayraktar. Ahmet Fikret Polathan was shown his second yellow card after 59 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 60th match minute, Kaynarca was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ahmet Fikret Polathan to maneuver through the defense. In the 66th minute, Doğa Keyhüsrev made a precise shot to the right of Ahmet Refik Adıyaman. Malatya's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. If İzzet Hazer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 88 minutes of play, Kaynarca's Cüneyd Okatay made it 5-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ahmet Refik Adıyaman was left in no man's land by his defense there! Kaynarca's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
