Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Gazi Erçelik got the match started through his kick off. Orhun Vefalı's late challenge caught a Yeşilköy FK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Orhun Vefalı helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Yeşilköy FK booed when Marmaragücü was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Reşat Bağdaş didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Bircan Hataylı managed to get in a good position for a shot. Yeşilköy FK's supporters rose to their feet, but Bircan Hataylı was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Görkem Kızılaslan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the match had gone on for 12 minutes, Aras Görkem Hakan took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Görkem Kızılaslan to make any attempt to save it. In the 21st minute, Ahmet Seyfi Kuddus got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Fırat Ceri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oktay Özdoğal in the 23rd minute of play. Ahmet Seyfi Kuddus succeeded in the game's 25th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-1. After having played for 27 minutes, Mithat Abide managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Marmaragücü's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mithat Abide was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience was convinced that Mithat Abide's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fırat Ceri was relentless in the 28th minute of the game. Fırat Ceri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oktay Özdoğal in the 30th minute of play. Mithat Abide sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marmaragücü's Mithat Abide got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Gazi Erçelik kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Görkem Kızılaslan. That made the score 2-1 in the 45 minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Duran Tuğsan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Yeşilköy FK's Fırat Ceri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ahmet Seyfi Kuddus in the 55th minute of play. Fırat Ceri was a little too slow when Mithat Abide got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 57th minute. The score was now 2-2. In the 62nd minute of the match Bircan Hataylı sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Görkem Kızılaslan skillfully saved the ball. The free kick resulted in a very good chance to score when Ahmet Seyfi Kuddus kicked a really tricky shot on goal. Fırat Ceri never had to step in, however, because the ball went just left of the goal. In the 69th minute, Ahmet Seyfi Kuddus made a precise shot to the right of Fırat Ceri. Yeşilköy FK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-3. In the 73rd minute of the match Marmaragücü got a corner. Yeşilköy FK's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ahmet Seyfi Kuddus ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Yeşilköy FK's goalie and right to Orhun Vefalı. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Yeşilköy FK's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. In the 75th minute Ahmet Seyfi Kuddus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fırat Ceri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Oktay Özdoğal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 81 played minutes Yeşilköy FK got a freekick which was hit by Aras Görkem Hakan. Mithat Abide blasted a shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fırat Ceri having to make a save. If Oktay Özdoğal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Orhun Vefalı kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. Fırat Ceri made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when Mithat Abide sent off a good shot on target. Fırat Ceri was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Oktay Özdoğal showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-4 in the 92 minute of play. Fırat Ceri came out of the goal in the 96th minute to try and stop a shot by Marmaragücü's Ahmet Seyfi Kuddus. But to his dismay, Ahmet Seyfi Kuddus quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-5. Marmaragücü's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
