Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fikret Ünalp in the 8th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Enes Sarim prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some careless play in the Bandırma Spor defense, Fikret Ünalp kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Enes Sarim. The Bandırma Spor fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Enes Sarim should have stopped the shot. Fikret Ünalp took the ball and in the 17 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Enes Sarim. Enes Sarim dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Fikret Ünalp sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Baybars Atik fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bandırma Spor's protests and gave Baybars Atik a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Mücahitler booed when Bandırma Spor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Baybars Atik didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mücahitler's Artun Özilhan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save Mücahitler from getting a goal against them. Lokman Boratay charged in rather forcefully in the 33rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lokman Boratay the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Bandırma Spor getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Lokman Boratay hit a great ball. In the 34th minute the ball was on its way in behind Bandırma Spor's goalkeeper Enes Sarim, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Fikret Ünalp came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Mücahitler fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fikret Ünalp couldn't finish the play. Enes Sarim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fikret Ünalp, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 43 minutes into the game, one of Bandırma Spor:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 48th minute of the match Ecevit Ersed shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Enes Sarim showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball.

52 minutes into the game, Gürsel Süreyya threw the ball into play from the sideline. Mücahitler's Ahmet Kutsi Tuğsan quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Mücahitler's Fikret Ünalp got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fikret Ünalp in the 57th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Enes Sarim saved Bandırma Spor from getting behind. With his leg Enes Sarim managed to avoid a goal in the 58thth minute, when Mücahitler's Fikret Ünalp fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. When Fikret Ünalp came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Mücahitler fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fikret Ünalp couldn't finish the play. Işıkalp Beyzade fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Enes Sarim having to interfere. Işıkalp Beyzade charged in rather forcefully in the 79th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Işıkalp Beyzade the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Işıkalp Beyzade kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. If Fikret Ünalp had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Azmi Bera charged in rather forcefully in the 83rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Azmi Bera the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Bandırma Spor booed when Mücahitler was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Azmi Bera didn't get a good kick on the ball. Enes Sarim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fikret Ünalp in the 90th minute of the match. With a little luck, Bandırma Spor's Enes Sarim got control of the ball when Fikret Ünalp tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 93 played minutes Mücahitler got a freekick which was hit by Ahmet Kutsi Tuğsan. Işıkalp Beyzade struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Enes Sarim didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mücahitler. Mücahitler played a much better game than Bandırma Spor and deserved their victory. The Bandırma Spor players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
