If Kasım Başol had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Ahmet Göktuğ Ergökmen came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Aglasun SK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ahmet Göktuğ Ergökmen couldn't finish the play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Aglasun SK's much stronger midfield.
