Hakkı Onur Çetinoz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 15th match minute, Alanya was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by İsmail Cem Bağış to maneuver through the defense. The penalty shot was made by Hayrullah Altunışık, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Alanya's Hakkı Onur Çetinoz. 2-1. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Abdullatif Akdamar stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Derinkuyu booed when Alanya was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mustafa Birol Ulubek didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 74th minute, Mazhar Özaydın left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Alanya fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. In the 87th match minute, Derinkuyu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Serkan Hamurcuoğlu to maneuver through the defense. In the 89th minute, Mustafa Birol Ulubek hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hakkı Onur Çetinoz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Çakabey Kutsalan in the 95th minute of the match. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Alanya had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
