The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Türker Harzemşah showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Koray Yeltekin, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. The attack was good, but when Ali Haydar Dolunay in the 35th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ali Haydar Dolunay in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Türker Harzemşah prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 38 minutes into the game, Erdek's Ali Haydar Dolunay nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Türker Harzemşah made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Ali Haydar Dolunay succeeded in the game's 44th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-2. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

After 54 played minutes Ali Haydar Dolunay rounded Honaz SK's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-3. Türker Harzemşah showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ali Haydar Dolunay in the 59th minute of the match. In the 65th minute, Erdek's Ali Haydar Dolunay ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Türker Harzemşah. Türker Harzemşah yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-4. The audience thought a goal was coming when Koray Yeltekin got free with Türker Harzemşah in the 73rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Koray Yeltekin struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Türker Harzemşah didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Erdek. Necdet Naim came out of the goal in the 75th minute to try and stop a shot by Honaz SK's Arda Resat. But to his dismay, Arda Resat quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. The supporters of Erdek booed when Honaz SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Baturhan Tanzer didn't get a good kick on the ball. 85 minutes into the match, Honaz SK's goalkeeper Türker Harzemşah had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Koray Yeltekin. In the 87th minute of the match, Ali Haydar Dolunay tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Türker Harzemşah saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. When Bayındır Zorbey fell near the penalty area in the 89th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Erdek's protests and gave Bayındır Zorbey a yellow card for diving instead. After 89 played minutes Erdek got a freekick which was hit by Bayındır Zorbey. In the 93rd minute Ali Haydar Dolunay shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Türker Harzemşah saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Koray Yeltekin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match was over Erdek could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Honaz SK throughout the match.
