Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Serkan Hamurcuoğlu in the 7th minute a chance for a shot on goal. The supporters of Derinkuyu booed when Aslanapa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kubat Hurmacı didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Serkan Hamurcuoğlu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Derinkuyu's Aytuğ Yura got a free kick in the 45th minute. 46 minutes into the match, Aslanapa's Kerem Afacan broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 47th minute, Evren Yörük hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 49 played minutes Aslanapa got a freekick which was hit by Ulu Özgan. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Serkan Hamurcuoğlu made a kick off. Aslanapa's Muzaffer Uluerkan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Çakabey Kutsalan in the 53rd minute of play. Alkın Sehriyar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ulu Özgan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Mete Çağman fell near the penalty area in the 71st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Aslanapa's protests and gave Mete Çağman a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Derinkuyu booed when Aslanapa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mete Çağman didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 74 minutes, Çakabey Kutsalan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Derinkuyu's supporters crossed their fingers, but Çakabey Kutsalan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Çakabey Kutsalan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ulu Özgan in the 87th minute of play forced Derinkuyu's goalkeeper Alkın Sehriyar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Çakabey Kutsalan scored 0-1 in the 88th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Muzaffer Uluerkan, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Emrullah Turhan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 97 played minutes Derinkuyu got a freekick which was hit by Evren Yörük.
