Spectators: 6978 (Terracing: 5458, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 20) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Dursun Ali Avcı took the kick off in the first half of the match. Dursun Ali Avcı blasted a shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Müfit Refik having to make a save. Ogün Ekiner struck a weak shot in the 6th minute. Müfit Refik didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Islahiye. 7 minutes into the match, Islahiye's Dursun Ali Avcı sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Müfit Refik narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ogün Ekiner fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Müfit Refik having to interfere. Müfit Refik was out of position in the 16 minute of play, and Dursun Ali Avcı capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Dursun Ali Avcı really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Dursun Ali Avcı struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Müfit Refik didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Islahiye. The supporters of Islahiye booed when Galatasaray was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Batur Hacıağa didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 31 minutes, Hüseyin Soyurgal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Islahiye's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hüseyin Soyurgal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 36thth minute of the game Dursun Ali Avcı who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Galatasaray's Müfit Refik was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Müfit Refik stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dursun Ali Avcı's shot from short distance in the 41st minute. When Dursun Ali Avcı came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Islahiye fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dursun Ali Avcı couldn't finish the play. Dursun Ali Avcı was extremely unlucky when he, in the 47th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. In the 47th minute, Arcan Öğün fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Müfit Refik, passed just outside the right post. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Asım Tapgaç to make the kick off. A collision led to Islahiye getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Arcan Öğün hit a great ball. After having played for 56 minutes, Arcan Öğün managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Islahiye reached it. When the match clock showed 62 minutes, the score became 4-0 when Dursun Ali Avcı sped through Galatasaray's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Müfit Refik. Süleyman Malik's late challenge caught a Islahiye's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Süleyman Malik helped the player get up and apologised. In the 65th match minute, Galatasaray was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Süleyman Malik to maneuver through the defense. Müfit Refik took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dursun Ali Avcı, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Arcan Öğün recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dursun Ali Avcı received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Müfit Refik tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Berke Yabgu during the 86th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 86th match minute, Islahiye was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Berke Yabgu to maneuver through the defense. Müfit Refik showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dursun Ali Avcı in the 87th minute of the match. Dursun Ali Avcı blasted a shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Müfit Refik having to make a save. After 97 played minutes Galatasaray got a freekick which was hit by Behram Aktekin. Hüseyin Soyurgal struck a weak shot in the 98th minute. Müfit Refik didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Islahiye. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Islahiye fully deserved thier win.
