In the 9th minute Dursun Ali Avcı shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zafer Rasih saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 10 minutes into the match, Islahiye's goal looked a bit too open when Baran Alp Nabi came free, but Veysel Ahsen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hüsmen Vecdet got free with Veysel Ahsen in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Baran Alp Nabi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Veysel Ahsen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Veysel Ahsen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Baran Alp Nabi in the 20th minute of play. Baran Alp Nabi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Veysel Ahsen read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. The supporters of Islahiye booed when İstanbul Bulls was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Berkem Temur didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 40thth minute of the game Dursun Ali Avcı who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but İstanbul Bulls's Zafer Rasih was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Arcan Öğün fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zafer Rasih having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dursun Ali Avcı in the 44th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Zafer Rasih prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Dursun Ali Avcı had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Baran Alp Nabi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Veysel Ahsen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hüsmen Vecdet in the 52nd minute of the match. In the 53rd minute Baran Alp Nabi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Veysel Ahsen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Veysel Ahsen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Baran Alp Nabi in the 55th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Ogün Ekiner managed to get in a good position for a shot. Islahiye's supporters rose to their feet, but Ogün Ekiner was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zafer Rasih breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 58 minutes into the match, Hüsmen Vecdet notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Islahiye's Veysel Ahsen. Veysel Ahsen was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Hüsmen Vecdet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. Islahiye's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dursun Ali Avcı was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Hüseyin Soyurgal missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 86 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Zafer Rasih right hand side. Dursun Ali Avcı who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 94thth minute tested the skills of Zafer Rasih when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Arcan Öğün sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the final whistle sounded Islahiye left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than İstanbul Bulls.
