An unexpectedly hard shot by Hüsmen Vecdet in the 10th minute of play forced Galatasaray's goalkeeper Müfit Refik to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 13th minute, Asım Tapgaç hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 14th match minute, İstanbul Bulls was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hüsmen Vecdet to maneuver through the defense. After a good free kick, Hüsmen Vecdet got an opportunity to smash the ball into the goal, but unfortunately, the ball went just outside the goal, which resulted in a goal kick for Galatasaray. In the 15th minute Baran Alp Nabi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Müfit Refik saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 19th minute, Yasin İlgi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mehmet Şefik Serdaroğlu, 20 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Galatasaray's Müfit Refik played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Baran Alp Nabi in the 22nd minute of play. After having played for 28 minutes, Hüsmen Vecdet managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. İstanbul Bulls's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hüsmen Vecdet was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 29 minutes into the match, Galatasaray's goal looked a bit too open when Baran Alp Nabi came free, but Müfit Refik reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 33 minutes into the match, İstanbul Bulls's Baran Alp Nabi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Müfit Refik narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Müfit Refik stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hüsmen Vecdet's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. 37 minutes into the match, Galatasaray's goal looked a bit too open when Hüsmen Vecdet came free, but Müfit Refik reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hüsmen Vecdet fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Müfit Refik having to interfere. 41 minutes into the match, Baran Alp Nabi notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Galatasaray's Müfit Refik. Müfit Refik was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Baran Alp Nabi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Hüsmen Vecdet struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. Müfit Refik didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for İstanbul Bulls. When Hüsmen Vecdet came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the İstanbul Bulls fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hüsmen Vecdet couldn't finish the play. If Baran Alp Nabi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Müfit Refik made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when Hüsmen Vecdet sent off a good shot on target. Galatasaray's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Baran Alp Nabi 63 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-2. Hüsmen Vecdet fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Müfit Refik having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Baran Alp Nabi kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Müfit Refik. That made the score 0-3 in the 71 minute of play. Müfit Refik made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hüsmen Vecdet in the 76th minute. Hüsmen Vecdet could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but Müfit Refik made a huge save. When Arif Özguc fell near the penalty area in the 81st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored İstanbul Bulls's protests and gave Arif Özguc a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to İstanbul Bulls getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Arif Özguc hit a great ball. Zafer Ceri hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Behram Aktekin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Galatasaray's zone, Hüsmen Vecdet stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Müfit Refik came out of the goal and Hüsmen Vecdet tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to İstanbul Bulls getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Berkem Temur hit a great ball. The İstanbul Bulls players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
