The supporters of FeNeRBaHÇe booed when Corlu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sarp Eyüpoğlu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Berkay Erginer made a fantastic save in the 8th minute, when Besim Sanal sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Namık Yanaç got free with Berkay Erginer in the 9th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Adnan Ercan managed to get in a good position for a shot. FeNeRBaHÇe's supporters rose to their feet, but Adnan Ercan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Resulhan Acemoğlu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Şener Özgurcan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Resulhan Acemoğlu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Through an outstanding action, after 18 minutes, Berkay Erginer successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Berkay Erginer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arın Ferhat Bakır, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Resulhan Acemoğlu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gökberk Eyüpoğlu in the 26th minute of the match. Resulhan Acemoğlu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Şener Özgurcan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gökberk Eyüpoğlu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Resulhan Acemoğlu having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hayati Niyazi during the 34th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. FeNeRBaHÇe's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gökberk Eyüpoğlu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Adnan Ercan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Resulhan Acemoğlu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 37th minute of play. Berkay Erginer made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Şener Özgurcan made the kick off in the second half. FeNeRBaHÇe's Gökberk Eyüpoğlu quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Taci Veli, made in the 52nd minute of the game. Resulhan Acemoğlu made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Gökberk Eyüpoğlu sent off a good shot on target. Gökberk Eyüpoğlu's late challenge caught a Corlu's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gökberk Eyüpoğlu helped the player get up and apologised. After 61 played minutes FeNeRBaHÇe got a freekick which was hit by Gökberk Eyüpoğlu. An unexpectedly hard shot by Namık Yanaç in the 65th minute of play forced FeNeRBaHÇe's goalkeeper Berkay Erginer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Besim Sanal came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Corlu fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Besim Sanal couldn't finish the play. Berkay Erginer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Namık Yanaç in the 72nd minute of play. Berkay Erginer made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Gökberk Eyüpoğlu struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Resulhan Acemoğlu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FeNeRBaHÇe. After a defensive mix-up in Corlu's zone, Adnan Ercan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Resulhan Acemoğlu came out of the goal and Adnan Ercan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Berkay Erginer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arın Ferhat Bakır in the 91st minute of the match. When Hayati Niyazi came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Corlu fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hayati Niyazi couldn't finish the play. Many of FeNeRBaHÇe's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. FeNeRBaHÇe may have spent more time on the ball, but Corlu were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
