Yüce Özkutsal didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Zeytinburnu. Rüstem Oğuztan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Yüce Özkutsal read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 26th minute of play. Cengiz Tekinalp fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yüce Özkutsal having to interfere. Yüce Özkutsal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rüstem Oğuztan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cengiz Tekinalp received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Yüce Özkutsal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 47th minute of the match Hayati Özgenc shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Yüce Özkutsal showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

58 minutes into the match, Zeytinburnu's goal looked a bit too open when Hüseyin Cahit Türköz came free, but Onur Ali Aydınalp reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Türkiye Bedrin Arslanları defense, Rüstem Oğuztan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Yüce Özkutsal. The Türkiye Bedrin Arslanları fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Yüce Özkutsal should have stopped the shot. Yüce Özkutsal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rüstem Oğuztan, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Cengiz Tekinalp managed to get in a good position for a shot. Zeytinburnu's supporters rose to their feet, but Cengiz Tekinalp was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Yüce Özkutsal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 91st minute Cengiz Tekinalp shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yüce Özkutsal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Onur Ali Aydınalp made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hüseyin Cahit Türköz in the 94th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ahmet İlke Demirsah during the 95th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Türkiye Bedrin Arslanları booed when Zeytinburnu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ahmet İlke Demirsah didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Zeytinburnu had won after a very even match.
