The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Yüce Özkutsal didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Kutlualp Erdesir went, in the 13th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. After 17 minutes of play, Ciftlikköy FK's Kutlualp Erdesir made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Yüce Özkutsal was left in no man's land by his defense there! Suphi Mümtaz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hüseyin Cahit Türköz, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Ciftlikköy FK's Kutlualp Erdesir got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Türkiye Bedrin Arslanları's Yüce Özkutsal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kutlualp Erdesir in the 27th minute of play. Suphi Mümtaz was out of position in the 37 minute of play, and Hüseyin Cahit Türköz capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Hüseyin Cahit Türköz really showed his touch with that goal: 2-2. Türkiye Bedrin Arslanları's Sezgin Onsal got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 48 minutes into the match, Türkiye Bedrin Arslanları's Sezgin Onsal sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Suphi Mümtaz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Hüseyin Cahit Türköz to make the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Türkiye Bedrin Arslanları's zone, Kutlualp Erdesir stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Yüce Özkutsal came out of the goal and Kutlualp Erdesir tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Yüce Özkutsal made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kutlualp Erdesir in the 56th minute. If Kıvanç Kaan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 61st minute Cenan İmdat suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. 61 minutes into the game, Ekber Avcu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Türkiye Bedrin Arslanları's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ciftlikköy FK the free kick. Ekber Avcu hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Kutlualp Erdesir struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Yüce Özkutsal didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ciftlikköy FK. Kutlualp Erdesir recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 70th minute Sezgin Onsal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Suphi Mümtaz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kutlualp Erdesir received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Yüce Özkutsal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sezgin Onsal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Sezgin Onsal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sezgin Onsal was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Kutlualp Erdesir fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yüce Özkutsal having to interfere. In the 91st minute, Sezgin Onsal made a precise shot to the right of Suphi Mümtaz. Ciftlikköy FK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-2. Türkiye Bedrin Arslanları's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
