Şimşek Yanaç hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in CEOSPOR's zone, Vatan İhtişam stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Şentürk Talut came out of the goal and Vatan İhtişam tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. CEOSPOR's Şentürk Talut played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Turgut Mengü in the 17th minute of play. Şentürk Talut showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Özal Zeynur in the 20th minute of the match. In the 21st minute, Vatan İhtişam left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Dikilitas fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Vatan İhtişam's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Şentürk Talut read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 30th minute of play. Fadıl Başeskioğlu charged in rather forcefully in the 36th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fadıl Başeskioğlu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, CEOSPOR's Fadıl Başeskioğlu got a free kick in the 36th minute. Varol Akburç took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 36th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Şentürk Talut. CEOSPOR's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. If Turgut Mengü had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kutay Helvacıoğlu was the one to do the kick off. In the 61st minute of the match Uğur Orhun sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Abdi Mehmet İlsev skillfully saved the ball. Vatan İhtişam sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vatan İhtişam in the 71st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Şentürk Talut prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Dikilitas's Turgut Mengü got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Vatan İhtişam fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Şentürk Talut having to interfere. Vatan İhtişam got in the 80th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Şentürk Talut handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Dikilitas's Tuncer Resai got a free kick in the 87th minute. Şentürk Talut showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vatan İhtişam in the 92nd minute of the match. Dikilitas's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
