Spectators: 6704 (Terracing: 5033, Seating: 1661, VIP seats: 10) Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mustafa Arif Orkan in the 6th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Yavuz Selim Batır prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Yavuz Selim Batır showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mustafa Hakan Uzma, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. When the match had gone on for 12 minutes, Mustafa Arif Orkan put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Yavuz Selim Batır. After a rather tough play, DÜZCE SK's Teoman Akbaba got a free kick in the 16th minute. Mustafa Hakan Uzma struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Yavuz Selim Batır didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Istanbul SK. Mustafa Hakan Uzma fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yavuz Selim Batır having to interfere. Yavuz Selim Batır took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mustafa Arif Orkan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Baran Bilge Uğursal hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. In the 26th minute Kandemir Avşaroğlu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Metehan Aşkın saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Istanbul SK's Kutlualp Cerit got a free kick in the 27th minute. After a defensive mix-up in DÜZCE SK's zone, Mustafa Hakan Uzma stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Yavuz Selim Batır came out of the goal and Mustafa Hakan Uzma tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Mustafa Arif Orkan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Istanbul SK's supporters rose to their feet, but Mustafa Arif Orkan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Yavuz Selim Batır breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Kandemir Avşaroğlu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Mustafa Hakan Uzma fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yavuz Selim Batır having to interfere. After having played for 47 minutes, Kandemir Avşaroğlu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. DÜZCE SK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kandemir Avşaroğlu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After the first half Istanbul SK were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kandemir Avşaroğlu to make the kick off. Mustafa Hakan Uzma received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Yavuz Selim Batır tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kandemir Avşaroğlu took the ball and in the 64 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Metehan Aşkın. Metehan Aşkın dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. In the 67th minute, one of DÜZCE SK:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for DÜZCE SK. Yavuz Selim Çelebi shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. A hard shot by Ahmet Nasir Tülün from long distance, 71 minutes into the match, got Yavuz Selim Batır's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. After a rather tough play, Istanbul SK's Kutlualp Cerit got a free kick in the 74th minute. If Mustafa Arif Orkan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mustafa Hakan Uzma in the 79thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Yavuz Selim Batır, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mustafa Hakan Uzma got free with Yavuz Selim Batır in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Erol İsmail fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Metehan Aşkın having to interfere. Erol İsmail received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Metehan Aşkın tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mustafa Hakan Uzma had several of the DÜZCE SK's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 97 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-2 score and a disappointed Yavuz Selim Batır as he didn't even see the shot coming. The DÜZCE SK fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Istanbul SK were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
