A collision led to GençlerBirliği SK getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Kasım Hanefi hit a great ball. Sahilevleri's Süreyya Saygur couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 16th minute. In the 18thth minute of the game Ali Orhan Eryaman who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but GençlerBirliği SK's Gökçen Sebukalp was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Gökçen Sebukalp didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Latif Kutlualp went, in the 19th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. GençlerBirliği SK's Gökçen Sebukalp played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ali Orhan Eryaman in the 26th minute of play. With his leg Gökçen Sebukalp managed to avoid a goal in the 28thth minute, when Sahilevleri's Latif Kutlualp fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Ali Orhan Eryaman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ali Orhan Eryaman in the 33rd minute of play forced GençlerBirliği SK's goalkeeper Gökçen Sebukalp to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
