Bircan Akçakıl fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Atahan Esay having to interfere. After having played for 9 minutes, Ozan İribaş managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Yerköy FK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ozan İribaş was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cerrahpasa's Anıl Ozan İşbilir played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Türkeş Sayfi in the 11th minute of play. Anıl Ozan İşbilir showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ozan İribaş in the 12th minute of the match. If Türkeş Sayfi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cerrahpasa's Anıl Ozan İşbilir played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ozan İribaş in the 17th minute of play. In the 24th minute Hıncal Yağan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Atahan Esay saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 33 minutes of play, Yerköy FK's Batur Başdaş made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Anıl Ozan İşbilir was left in no man's land by his defense there! 40 minutes into the match, Yerköy FK's goalkeeper Atahan Esay had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hıncal Yağan. In the 44th minute Ozan İribaş shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anıl Ozan İşbilir saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Cerrahpasa's zone, Ozan İribaş stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anıl Ozan İşbilir came out of the goal and Ozan İribaş tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 47 minutes into the match, Cerrahpasa's goal looked a bit too open when Ahmet Asım Dalga came free, but Anıl Ozan İşbilir reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half Yerköy FK were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Hıncal Yağan made the kick off in the second half. Şevket Öksal's late challenge caught a Cerrahpasa's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Şevket Öksal helped the player get up and apologised. Ozan İribaş who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 58thth minute tested the skills of Anıl Ozan İşbilir when he managed to save the team from getting behind. With his leg Anıl Ozan İşbilir managed to avoid a goal in the 62ndth minute, when Yerköy FK's Ozan İribaş fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. A collision led to Cerrahpasa getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Hıncal Yağan hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Yerköy FK's Şevket Öksal got a free kick in the 66th minute. Ozan İribaş charged in rather forcefully in the 68th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ozan İribaş the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Cerrahpasa booed when Yerköy FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ozan İribaş didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 75th minute, Batur Başdaş got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Galip Değirmenci fell near the penalty area in the 78th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cerrahpasa's protests and gave Galip Değirmenci a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Yerköy FK booed when Cerrahpasa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Galip Değirmenci didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ozan İribaş recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 81 minutes into the match, Yerköy FK's Batur Başdaş sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Anıl Ozan İşbilir narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ozan İribaş struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Anıl Ozan İşbilir didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Yerköy FK. In the 84th minute, Yerköy FK's Türkeş Sayfi dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-2. In the 89th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cerrahpasa's goalkeeper Anıl Ozan İşbilir, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ozan İribaş got free with Anıl Ozan İşbilir in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Yerköy FK's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
