In the 36th minute of the match, Onur Ali Özdel tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Balaban Mecnun saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After a defensive mix-up in Alacakaya's zone, Ahmet Nasir Kurboga stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Göksun Serbülend came out of the goal and Ahmet Nasir Kurboga tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Onur Ali Özdel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Balaban Mecnun having to interfere. Orhan Seyfi Candeğer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Göksun Serbülend tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Osman Öztekin hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match.
