Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Sinan Sonat got the match started through his kick off. Thanks to some nice moves Ataol Özkent could shoot a difficult shot in the 3rd minute, which Halil İbrahim Ozanalp however easily saved by the left post. Yüksel Baştürk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Halil İbrahim Ozanalp having to interfere. 18 minutes into the match, Giresun JK's goal looked a bit too open when Sinan Sonat came free, but Birsel Dertsiz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hamdi Orbay kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Yüksel Baştürk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Halil İbrahim Ozanalp tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Silkiciler FK getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Tacettin Dervişoğlu hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Devlet Necmi during the 35th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Devlet Necmi kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. In the 37th minute, Yüksel Baştürk ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Halil İbrahim Ozanalp was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Birsel Dertsiz came out of the goal in the 44th minute to try and stop a shot by Silkiciler FK's Sinan Sonat. But to his dismay, Sinan Sonat quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. When Yüksel Baştürk came up free with the goalie in the 48th minute, the Giresun JK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Yüksel Baştürk couldn't finish the play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The wind increased when Yüksel Baştürk made the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the Silkiciler FK defense, Yüksel Baştürk kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Halil İbrahim Ozanalp. The Silkiciler FK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Halil İbrahim Ozanalp should have stopped the shot. Birsel Dertsiz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sinan Sonat, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Halil İbrahim Ozanalp made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yüksel Baştürk in the 60th minute of play. Ataol Özkent fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Halil İbrahim Ozanalp having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Silkiciler FK's zone, Yüksel Baştürk stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Halil İbrahim Ozanalp came out of the goal and Yüksel Baştürk tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Sinan Sonat had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cumhur Özkent kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Halil İbrahim Ozanalp showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ataol Özkent, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Halil İbrahim Ozanalp took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ataol Özkent, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sinan Sonat in the 86th minute of play forced Giresun JK's goalkeeper Birsel Dertsiz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Silkiciler FK getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Tacettin Dervişoğlu hit a great ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the Silkiciler FK players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Giresun JK.
