The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ragıp Üster in the 4th minute of play forced Silkiciler FK's goalkeeper Halil İbrahim Ozanalp to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Karacabey's Ragıp Üster in the 5th minute got a chance for a shot 5th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After a defensive mix-up in Karacabey's zone, Sinan Sonat stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ahmet Hafiz Babür came out of the goal and Sinan Sonat tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Ragıp Üster had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ahmet Hafiz Babür made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ahmet Hakan Ruhi in the 28th minute. Erdeniz Ongar hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Ahmet Hakan Ruhi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 32 minutes, Tacettin Dervişoğlu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Silkiciler FK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tacettin Dervişoğlu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ahmet Hafiz Babür stood somewhat misplaced when Sinan Sonat came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 33 minute. Karacabey's Ahmet Hafiz Babür played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sinan Sonat in the 37th minute of play. In the 40th match minute, Karacabey was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ecevit Serdinç to maneuver through the defense. 43 minutes into the match, Silkiciler FK's goal looked a bit too open when Arif Buğra Sağcan came free, but Halil İbrahim Ozanalp reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Silkiciler FK booed when Karacabey was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rahmi Satılmış didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ahmet Hafiz Babür showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sinan Sonat, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sinan Sonat stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Silkiciler FK booed when Karacabey was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hamdullah Gökalp didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ragıp Üster fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Halil İbrahim Ozanalp having to interfere. If Ahmet Hakan Ruhi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 72 minutes into the game, Silkiciler FK's Sinan Sonat nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ahmet Hafiz Babür made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gökmen Arısal during the 76th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 76th minute of the game. One of Karacabey:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Silkiciler FK:s goal. In the 77th minute there was a penalty for Silkiciler FK. Ahmet Hakan Ruhi stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Ahmet Hafiz Babür. 3-0. Ahmet Hafiz Babür took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ahmet Hakan Ruhi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ahmet Hakan Ruhi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ahmet Hafiz Babür having to interfere. Gökmen Arısal was shown his second yellow card after 87 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The referee gave Silkiciler FK a penalty, 89 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Ahmet Hakan Ruhi, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Karacabey's Ahmet Hafiz Babür. 4-0. A collision led to Silkiciler FK getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Ahmet Hakan Ruhi hit a great ball. When Sinan Sonat came up free with the goalie in the 98th minute, the Silkiciler FK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sinan Sonat couldn't finish the play. There was no doubt that Silkiciler FK were the better team. Silkiciler FK's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
