Sabri Özdurdu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Atıf Özselen having to interfere. In the 5th minute, Ali Hamza Zor ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Atıf Özselen was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. A collision led to Alpu getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Sabri Özdurdu hit a great ball. Fethi Hekimoğlu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Naci Özer having to make a save. 15 minutes into the match, Alpu's goalkeeper Naci Özer had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hasan Özkutsal. Diyadinspor's Necat Yavuz suffered a concussion in the 16th minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. The supporters of Diyadinspor booed when Alpu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sabri Özdurdu didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 22 minutes, Ali Hamza Zor managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Alpu's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ali Hamza Zor was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Atıf Özselen didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sabri Özdurdu went, in the 25th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Sabri Özdurdu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Atıf Özselen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ali Hamza Zor took the ball and in the 32 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Atıf Özselen. Atıf Özselen dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Sabri Özdurdu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Atıf Özselen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ali Hamza Zor in the 37th minute of the match. Hasan Özkutsal kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. Atıf Özselen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ali Hamza Zor in the 43rd minute of play. When Sabri Özdurdu came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Alpu fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sabri Özdurdu couldn't finish the play. Atıf Özselen stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ali Hamza Zor's shot from short distance in the 46th minute. In the 47th minute, Nafiz Kırca made a precise shot to the right of Atıf Özselen. Diyadinspor's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ali Hamza Zor to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Ali Hamza Zor ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Atıf Özselen was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. In the 68th minute the ball was on its way in behind Diyadinspor's goalkeeper Atıf Özselen, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Ali Hamza Zor's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Atıf Özselen was relentless in the 71st minute of the game.
