The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Kayhan Üstündağ showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tamer Bartu, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. If Mahsun Usun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Caner Serdar kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Kastamonuspor's Murathan Koryürek got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Galatasaray SK's Kayhan Üstündağ played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tamer Bartu in the 31st minute of play. Olcay Pertev kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Tamer Bartu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 36th minute Şensoy Aksoy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Müfit Genişyürek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
