Cesur Palabıyık made an important save on a dangerous shot by Oğuzer Sahat in the 29th minute. Cesur Palabıyık was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Batıray Şemseddin showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-2 in the 30 minute of play. The Galatasaray SK players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Gs1905 were winning 1-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Devlet Vakkasoğlu was the one to do the kick off. Hayri Emekli took the ball and in the 54 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cesur Palabıyık. Cesur Palabıyık dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. Devlet Vakkasoğlu struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Boran Taşkın in the 62nd minute of play forced Gs1905's goalkeeper Cesur Palabıyık to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cesur Palabıyık made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Talat Taşan in the 98th minute of play. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Gs1905 eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
