Naci Özer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mahsun Usun, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 6 minutes, Hasan Oğuzhan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Galatasaray SK and the Alpu players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 6th match minute, Galatasaray SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hasan Oğuzhan to maneuver through the defense. Kayhan Üstündağ came out of the goal in the 13th minute to try and stop a shot by Alpu's Ali Hamza Zor. But to his dismay, Ali Hamza Zor quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Olcay Pertev's late challenge caught a Alpu's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Olcay Pertev helped the player get up and apologised. Olcay Pertev kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Galatasaray SK's Kayhan Üstündağ played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ahmet Bülent Onsoy in the 20th minute of play. In the 20th match minute, Galatasaray SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hasan Oğuzhan to maneuver through the defense. In the 22nd minute, Ali Hamza Zor made a precise shot to the right of Kayhan Üstündağ. Galatasaray SK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. After 25 minutes, Ali Hamza Zor made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. Galatasaray SK's Kayhan Üstündağ tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After 28 played minutes Galatasaray SK got a freekick which was hit by Hasan Oğuzhan. If Ahmet Bülent Onsoy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ali Hamza Zor in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kayhan Üstündağ prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 40thth minute of the game Ali Hamza Zor who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Galatasaray SK's Kayhan Üstündağ was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Alican Şahinalp managed to get in a good position for a shot. Alpu's supporters rose to their feet, but Alican Şahinalp was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kayhan Üstündağ breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Alpu's Ali Hamza Zor, in the 42nd minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Alpu. Rüstem Salik received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Kayhan Üstündağ tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 47 minutes into the match, Alpu's Nafiz Kırca sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kayhan Üstündağ narrowly saved just below the crossbar.

In the 54th minute, Şensoy Aksoy got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 55 minutes into the game, Alican Şahinalp was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Alpu's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Galatasaray SK the free kick. A collision led to Alpu getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Alican Şahinalp hit a great ball. Kayhan Üstündağ was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ali Hamza Zor showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-4 in the 58 minute of play. 62 minutes into the match, Galatasaray SK's goalkeeper Kayhan Üstündağ had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ali Hamza Zor. Ali Hamza Zor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kayhan Üstündağ having to interfere. In the 66th of the match, Ahmet Bülent Onsoy tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Kayhan Üstündağ got in the way and made a wonderful save. Kayhan Üstündağ showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alican Şahinalp in the 67th minute of the match. Alpu's Ali Hamza Zor got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The throw-in from Baysal Toktamış in the 70th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Alpu's Nafiz Kırca. Ali Hamza Zor was extremely unlucky when he, in the 72nd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ali Hamza Zor in the 89th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kayhan Üstündağ saved Galatasaray SK from getting behind. Alpu's Rüstem Salik got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Galatasaray SK's Hasan Oğuzhan got a free kick in the 92nd minute. 94 minutes into the match, Alpu's Ahmet Bülent Onsoy sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kayhan Üstündağ narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 96 minutes into the match, Galatasaray SK's goal looked a bit too open when Ali Hamza Zor came free, but Kayhan Üstündağ reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match was over Alpu could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Galatasaray SK throughout the match.
