The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Görkem Çoğun the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of KADIKÖY SK protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Görkem Çoğun had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. 8 minutes into the game, one of KADIKÖY SK:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ertuğrul Has in the 11th minute of play forced KADIKÖY SK's goalkeeper Alemdar Kutel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alemdar Kutel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ahmet Ege Alişan in the 13th minute of play. After 16 minutes, Ahmet Ege Alişan made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. KADIKÖY SK's Alemdar Kutel tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Giresun SK's Ahmet İlhan Battal quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Hakkı Deniz Baran, made in the 22nd minute of the game. KADIKÖY SK's Alemdar Kutel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save KADIKÖY SK from getting a goal against them. Erhan Erakalın's late challenge caught a Giresun SK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Erhan Erakalın helped the player get up and apologised. In the 57th minute, Erhan Erakalın hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Harun Kayıboylu shot a long shot in the 58th minute and a light blocked Alemdar Kutel hadn't a chance when the ball went into goal on his right side. It was 1-2. Alemdar Kutel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ahmet Ege Alişan's shot from short distance in the 70th minute. In the 71st minute, Ertuğrul Has left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Giresun SK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-4. Alemdar Kutel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ahmet Ege Alişan, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. KADIKÖY SK's Alemdar Kutel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ahmet Ege Alişan in the 77th minute of play. Ensar Biçimli hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. An unexpected shot in the 86th minute by Ertuğrul Has got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Alemdar Kutel made a fantastic save in the 86th minute, when Ahmet Ege Alişan sent off a good shot on target. Ertuğrul Has could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Alemdar Kutel made a huge save. Nusret Uygun fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kuddusî Saye having to interfere. Giresun SK's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
