Bahattin Reşat took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 16th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Hüseyin Cahit Özilhan. Fc Ozenoglu's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The supporters of KADIKÖY SK booed when Fc Ozenoglu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sezer Akar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fehmi Akdamar kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Hüseyin Cahit Özilhan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Refik Baroğlu in the 60th minute of the match. After 61 played minutes Fc Ozenoglu got a freekick which was hit by Fehmi Akdamar. In the 63rd minute KADIKÖY SK were awarded a corner. Bahattin Reşat went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on KADIKÖY SK's corner Bahattin Reşat fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Hüseyin Cahit Özilhan quite easily take care of the ball. Alemdar Kutel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Garip Tara, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sezer Akar struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Alemdar Kutel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fc Ozenoglu. If Ahmet Kutsi Baltaş had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fc Ozenoglu's Hüseyin Cahit Özilhan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Refik Baroğlu in the 94th minute of play. In the 95th minute, Refik Baroğlu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hüseyin Cahit Özilhan was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched KADIKÖY SK eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
