Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Doğuş Pekinturk started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Doğuş Pekinturk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eser Kamber having to interfere. After having played for 7 minutes, Balamir Okutman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ovacik's supporters crossed their fingers, but Balamir Okutman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Abidin Bayazid's late challenge caught a Körfez FK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Abidin Bayazid helped the player get up and apologised. In the 8th minute, Abidin Bayazid hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Derya Tokuşhan in the 11th minute of play forced Körfez FK's goalkeeper Dinçer İlsak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Körfez FK getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Bican Akbatur hit a great ball. 13 minutes into the match, Ovacik's Balamir Okutman sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dinçer İlsak narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 15th match minute, Körfez FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mehmet Hamdi Üner to maneuver through the defense. Eser Kamber took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bedri Akağan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 24th match minute, Ovacik was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ali Galip Sadak to maneuver through the defense. Doğuş Pekinturk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Eser Kamber tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 27 minutes into the match, Ovacik's goal looked a bit too open when Bedri Akağan came free, but Eser Kamber reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Körfez FK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Arın Türkyılmaz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Dinçer İlsak tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Balamir Okutman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Derya Tokuşhan made the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Derya Tokuşhan in the 53rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dinçer İlsak prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Balamir Okutman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Doğuş Pekinturk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Eser Kamber tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 67 minutes into the match, Ovacik's goalkeeper Eser Kamber had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bedri Akağan. If Derya Tokuşhan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 75th minute, Bedri Akağan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Bedri Akağan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Eser Kamber tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dinçer İlsak showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Derya Tokuşhan in the 86th minute of the match. In the 93rd minute, Mehmet Edip Kiray hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dinçer İlsak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Derya Tokuşhan in the 96th minute of play. The Körfez FK players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
