Bahadır Hazar charged in rather forcefully in the 6th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bahadır Hazar the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Aycan Koytak made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Ahmet Nasir Kani sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sungur Kotuz in the 42nd minute of play forced Boyaciköy's goalkeeper Aycan Koytak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aycan Koytak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sungur Kotuz in the 43rd minute of play. A collision led to Demirköy SK getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Ahmet Nasir Kani hit a great ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sungur Kotuz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Demirköy SK's Atilla Bumin Pekel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Süruri Hicab in the 53rd minute of play. Aycan Koytak took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ahmet Nasir Kani, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sungur Kotuz's late challenge caught a Boyaciköy's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sungur Kotuz helped the player get up and apologised. In the 55th minute, Sungur Kotuz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aycan Koytak took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kutlu Üçok, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 72 minutes into the match, Demirköy SK's goalkeeper Atilla Bumin Pekel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Haşim Dilhun. If Zülfikar Akbey had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Demirköy SK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-3. After 88 minutes of play Demirköy SK's Sungur Kotuz was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 88th minute, Sungur Kotuz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hazar Korkut fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aycan Koytak having to interfere. If Ahmet Nasir Kani had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
