Dinçer İlsak didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for KADIKÖY SK. If Refik Baroğlu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bedri Akağan in the 12thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Alemdar Kutel, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The supporters of Körfez FK booed when KADIKÖY SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gürbüz Ünaldi didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 17th minute, Bedri Akağan left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Körfez FK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. In the 20th match minute, Körfez FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mehmet Hamdi Üner to maneuver through the defense. Dinçer İlsak took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nusret Uygun, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Körfez FK's zone, Refik Baroğlu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dinçer İlsak came out of the goal and Refik Baroğlu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dinçer İlsak showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nusret Uygun, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Mehmet Hamdi Üner hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Nusret Uygun's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dinçer İlsak read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 30th minute of play. The goalkeeper, Alemdar Kutel, was totally fooled by Körfez FK's Berker Zümer, who 45 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Refik Baroğlu made a kick off. After a rather tough play, KADIKÖY SK's Refik Baroğlu got a free kick in the 54th minute. Dinçer İlsak showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Refik Baroğlu, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Dinçer İlsak made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nusret Uygun in the 68th minute. If Doğuş Pekinturk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Bedri Akağan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alemdar Kutel having to interfere. Körfez FK's Bedri Akağan got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 75thth minute of the game Bedri Akağan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but KADIKÖY SK's Alemdar Kutel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Alemdar Kutel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Doğuş Pekinturk in the 82nd minute of the match. After 83 minutes, Hakkı Deniz Baran mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the KADIKÖY SK and the Körfez FK players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 83rd minute, Hakkı Deniz Baran hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 85th play minutes Refik Baroğlu shot 2-1, a short shot which went by Dinçer İlsak and just under the crossbar into goal. After 87 played minutes KADIKÖY SK got a freekick which was hit by Gürbüz Ünaldi. Alemdar Kutel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Doğuş Pekinturk in the 90th minute of play. When Gürbüz Ünaldi fell near the penalty area in the 91st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored KADIKÖY SK's protests and gave Gürbüz Ünaldi a yellow card for diving instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Bedri Akağan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Körfez FK's supporters rose to their feet, but Bedri Akağan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alemdar Kutel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Körfez FK's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
